Along with the Sustainable Neighborhood Network Celebration, Denver Urban Gardens will be at our March 14th General Membership Meeting for a Master Composter Presentation. The Master Composter Program is a ten-session course training individuals to be Master Composters and, in turn, equipping participants to share their newly acquired knowledge with others in the community. Through hands-on sessions, Master Composter Program participants learn about a broad range of compost and recycling topics, including resource conservation and the effective use of recycled household materials in gardens and home landscapes. Join us on March 14 to learn more about the program and how you can become a Master Composter.
Additional information will be available about the Denver Digs Trees program and the West Colfax Food Co-op at our General Membership Meeting; look for more more information on these programs in the Mid-March Newsletter. And as always, WeCAN will highlight neighborhood events and Community Resource Officer Bob Anderson of Denver Police District 1 will share crime statistics and answer your questions and concerns.
