A core group of West Colfax residents volunteer their time, skills and passion to be on WeCAN’s Board of Directors, as Committee Chairs and Event Coordinators to ensure WeCAN runs smoothly behind the scenes. These neighbors also help maintain partnerships with area businesses and non-profits and bring events to West Colfax that supports WeCAN’s core mission of “Bringing Neighbors Together to Build Community.”

They are dedicated to gathering and supporting neighbors and creating equitable housing opportunities in the West Colfax Community through their non-profit, West Colfax Lampstand.

OPEN
Co-President
WeCAN is currently seeking a diverse candidate to fill the role of the second Co-President. This neighbor would work directly with Shantelle (the current Co-President), Tony (the Vice President) and the WeCAN Board of Directors to help plan and run general and board meetings, be involved in a committee and be a city contact for WeCAN. If you are a long-time West Colfax resident or renter, or speak Spanish, please consider volunteering! Reach out to [email protected] if you are interested.

Tony Frey
